Biografay play A multidisciplinary artist born in Castro-Urdiales (Santander) in 1966. Carmelo Canales begins to feel very young and his creative inclination, either with the music to crafts. Sensitive a child who wanders the magical surroundings of his hometown imbued with an atmosphere that breathes and builds for future inspiration. Very soon he begins to build his first musical compositions familiar with different disciplines and gadgets, with multi-instrumentalist in different groups of pop music, where he composes and plays all the musical repertoire. But not until past twenty-five years when it starts to feel the call of other arts such as literature or drawing (A Van Gogh is analogous chronological prompts you to create full production in just a decade) and start researching tirelessly in the color and shape of the concrete and the abstract of his own existence. Works tirelessly day and night getting progressively results that surprised friends and strangers. His early works suffer from color but not a free estn where introversin forceful expression becomes a virtue and stamp their work. His fascination for the human form and in particular the facial expression that he uses as a description of the soul leads him to build a series of timeless portraits Serna ms beginning of what later set the concept of "Retroprogresin" which takes the artist Salvador Pniker writings, his spiritual master in the distance (not to be confused with his brother Raymond as away from the literature). Well, this conjuncin between literature and painting is the key to defining the work of this artist from the world, where the mystical and magical come together to show the deepest recesses of human existence. In fact you could say that all his work constitutes an endless gallery of timeless characters who may have already reached Nirvana Satori. The truth is that these pictures become real companions of his paradoxical and individualistic existence. The inclination of the old Eastern philosophy is felt in almost all his work, but without ignoring this science and technology. T his is perhaps the aportacinms interesting field of contemporary art (which boasts both "the last" sometimes ignoring the very meaning of art). That is your idea of the concept filosfica retroprogresin takes shape in a plastic within a balance that we premeditated yoculto shows a soul far removed from the daily human. The characters portrayed are Totems hidden in the contemporary world, gods silently that are abstracted from the chaos of today's world, never born and that may never morirn. Since 2005 the work of Canales colored tie and a simple geometry progressively framed portraits (now also scenes). Curious about any kind of artistic expression TmID making forays into the world of music video and short film (the great pending) and is known to define time and space sometimes wishes human.
